Privacy Policy
Summary: This extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any user data. It has no server component. Everything it saves is stored locally in your own browser and never leaves your device.
1. What the extension does
Meridians Campaign Assistant adds an organisational layer to the Telegram Ads interface at ads.telegram.org. It lets you group your existing ads into campaigns, search them by name or destination link, rename and reorganise groups in bulk, and — while creating an ad — see channel suggestions retrieved by the Telegram Ads page itself.
The extension runs only on ads.telegram.org. It is inactive on every other website.
2. Data stored on your device
The extension uses Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local) to remember your own organisational choices. That is limited to:
- Campaign names that you type in yourself.
- A mapping of ad identifiers to the campaign you assigned them to.
- The name and identifier of the Telegram Ads organisations you have used, so your groups stay separate per organisation.
- Your interface preferences: chosen language and whether the panel is collapsed.
This data is written only to your local browser profile. It is not synced to any account, not backed up to any service, and not readable by us or by any third party.
3. Data the extension does not collect
The extension does not read, store, or transmit:
- Login credentials, passwords, session cookies, or authentication tokens.
- Personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
- Payment or financial information.
- Your health information, location, or personal communications.
- Your browsing history or activity on any other website.
- Analytics, telemetry, usage metrics, crash reports, or advertising identifiers.
4. Network activity
The extension contains no code that sends data to any server operated by us or by anyone else. It defines no external endpoints and makes no network requests of its own.
When you use the channel-suggestion feature during ad creation, the request is issued by the Telegram Ads web application itself, over your existing logged-in session, and is answered by Telegram. The extension only displays the result that the page receives. No copy of that result is sent anywhere, and channel suggestion data is held in memory for the duration of the page only.
5. Permissions and why they are needed
- storage — to save your campaign names and groupings locally, so they persist between visits.
- Access to
ads.telegram.org— to display the campaign panel and grouping controls inside the Telegram Ads interface. This is the only site the extension can access.
The extension requests no other permissions, executes no remotely hosted code, and does not modify pages on any other domain.
6. Third parties
No user data is disclosed, sold, or transferred to any third party. There are no analytics providers, advertising networks, or external processors involved, because no data is collected in the first place.
7. Retention and deletion
Because your data never leaves your browser, you control it entirely. You can delete it at any time by removing an organisation from the extension's options page, by clearing the extension's storage in your browser settings, or by uninstalling the extension — which removes all of its stored data. We hold no copy to delete.
8. Children
The extension is a professional advertising tool and is not directed at children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
If the extension's data practices change, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised. Material changes will be reflected here before the affected version is published.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy or about the extension's handling of data can be sent to bilolkobilov1@gmail.com.
